History: Joscelin Verreuil was originally contracted to protect both of Anafiel Delauney's charges. He took a nearly immediate dislike to Phedre as she was an anguisette and almost diametrically opposite of all things the Cassiline Brotherhood respected. He had no choice but to escort her at Anafiel's command, however. Which is how he got involved in the more adventure than he ever wanted. Along the way he fell in love. He was sold along with her into slavery to the Skaldi. He was given as a gift to Waldemar Selig. He broke his Cassiline vows to kill a man to escape and broke them again by giving in to his feelings for Phedre and sleeping with her when they made their escape. They alerted Terre d'Ange to the threat of a Skaldic invasion. They traveled to Alba to find reinforcements for the fight and to negotiate a marriage between Ysandre and Drustan. When they returned, Joscelin was cast out of the Brotherhood. His story is more complicated than that, but it sets the stage for everything that followed. Romantic Marital Status: Single.
